National Services Day 2022

The National Services Day is to occur on Saturday 3rd of September this year. It is a day that gives our frontline, emergency and security services a platform through a series of events to thank the public for their support and assistance.

The National Ambulance Service will be taking part in parades all over the country to mark the event.

The national day of appreciation started in 2018 with events happening across the country aimed at helping foster relationships between the public and the emergency services. 

National Services Day is organised every year by FESSEF (Frontline Emergency & Security Services Éire Forum), an entirely volunteer-led effort. A list of events taking place can be found on the official National Services Day website.
