Community
The National Ambulance Service (NAS) looks to interact with communities throughout Ireland every single day to hear your views, better inform how we can improve our service and to coordinate volunteer groups that play an invaluable role in helping NAS respond to emergencies.
Whether that's through the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Registry that connects members from the National Ambulance Service, CFR Ireland, voluntary services, and members of the public to locate as many AEDs as possible nationally, the Community First Responders volunteers who are trained to attend certain types of emergency calls in the area where they live or work or the number of ways our Community Engagement Team reach out to and interact with the public and volunteers groups every day.
